The Process

Simple by design. Resolution by outcome.

We've built a straightforward, low-friction process that gets your surplus stock moving — without disrupting your operations or costing you anything upfront.

01

Share Your Stock or Materials List

Send us details of your surplus, non-moving, end-of-line or excess inventory — whether that's finished goods, raw materials, work in progress or excess components. We'll review it and come back to you with a plan.

02

We Agree Terms

We agree a commission rate and set a realistic timeframe. Everything is confirmed in writing before we proceed. Your stock stays in your warehouse throughout.

03

We Find the Buyers

We go to market using our buyer network — export traders, discount suppliers, trade buyers and more — to find the right home for your goods.

04

You Get Paid

Once a sale is agreed and fulfilled, you receive payment minus our agreed commission. Clean, transparent, and straightforward.

Why Remnex Partners

A partner with no hidden agenda.

We only earn when you do. Our commission is taken from whatever the stock or materials realise — so our interests are completely aligned with getting you the best possible return, whether that's full value recovery or simply turning a liability back into cash.

If your surplus stock has already been provisioned for in your company accounts — written down or written off as a loss — anything we recover for you goes straight back to your bottom line. Zero expectation. Pure upside.

Disposing of surplus stock also carries a carbon cost. For businesses subject to SECR reporting obligations, stock sent to landfill or destruction contributes to your Scope 3 waste emissions. By finding your stock a second life through Remnex Partners rather than disposal, you generate a measurable, reportable reduction in those emissions — supporting your sustainability reporting and ESG commitments at the same time.

For many businesses, the alternative to selling surplus stock isn't free — disposal carries its own significant costs. Working with Remnex Partners removes that liability entirely. Logistics costs are passed to the buyer as part of the deal, meaning you receive a return on stock that might otherwise have cost you money to shift.

With broad sector experience across manufacturing, distribution and trade, we understand how surplus stock problems arise — and more importantly, how to resolve them efficiently and discreetly.

No Upfront Cost

Commission-only. You pay nothing until stock is sold and funds are received.

Already Written Off?

If stock is provisioned in your accounts, anything we recover drops straight to your bottom line. Pure upside.

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

Selling surplus stock rather than disposing of it reduces your Scope 3 waste emissions — measurable and reportable under SECR.

Stock Stays With You

Your inventory remains in your warehouse until a sale is completed. No logistics risk.

Supports ESG Reporting

Every unit reused rather than disposed of is a positive contribution to your sustainability obligations and annual reporting.

Transparent Terms

Clear commission agreements in writing before we proceed. No surprises.

The Cost of Doing Nothing

The UK's surplus stock problem costs businesses more than most realise.

Surplus, obsolete and end-of-line stock isn't just a warehouse inconvenience. It's an active financial liability — and the cost of disposing of it is rising every year.

40M+
Tonnes of commercial & industrial waste generated in the UK every year
£152
Average all-in cost per tonne to send commercial waste to landfill in 2025

Of annual turnover — what waste disposal costs the average UK business

Landfill Tax — Rising Fast

The UK landfill tax rose by 22% in a single year — from £103.70 per tonne in 2024 to £126.15 per tonne in April 2025. Add the median gate fee of £26 per tonne and the total all-in cost of landfill disposal now exceeds £150 per tonne — before collection, labour or transport.

Cost Per Pallet — Real Numbers

A standard pallet of commercial goods weighs 500kg to 1 tonne. At current rates, disposing of a single pallet costs between £76 and £152 in landfill charges alone. A warehouse with 100 surplus pallets faces a disposal liability of up to £15,200 — before any other costs.

Regulation Tightening

Scotland has introduced a ban on biodegradable waste to landfill, with England expected to follow by 2028. Waste incineration is now entering the UK Emissions Trading Scheme, adding carbon pricing on top of disposal costs. The cost of disposal is only going one direction.

The Secondary Market Opportunity

Re-commerce — the resale of surplus, returned and end-of-line goods — is already worth over £7 billion to the UK economy. The buyers are there. The demand exists. The question is whether your surplus stock reaches them — or a landfill.

The Good Stock Problem — A Documented Example

An ITV News investigation into a single Amazon warehouse found 130,000 items marked for destruction in one week — including brand new, unopened laptops, TVs and face masks. Around 50% were still in their original packaging, never used. A former employee said: "There's no rhyme or reason to what gets destroyed."

This happens because when storage costs outweigh perceived return, businesses destroy perfectly good stock rather than find it a new home. Remnex Partners exists to break that equation. We find the buyers. You recover the value. Nothing goes to waste.

If your surplus stock is sitting in a warehouse costing you money,
it doesn't have to. There is a better option.
